Sweatcoin Trouble Maker is Here!!! (UPDATED 2022)

Update: Take the information in this post with a grain, a big grain of salt. Sweatcoin, in my opinion, has lost its way and you may want to read my newest post before you spend any money on Sweatcoin: Is Sweatcoin a Scam

That’s right, the wait is over. The new highest tier for earning coins on the Sweatcoin app has been released.

The Sweatcoin Trouble Maker tier allows users to earn up to 50 Sweatcoins per day or 1500 Sweatcoins per month! This tier does cost real money, $1.49 per month, but it includes some extra benefits over the lower tiers.

I have been using the Sweatcoin app for several months now and have reached my earning limit many, many times. Until now that limit has been set at 20 sweatcoins per day or 600 per month. To read more about how the Sweatcoin tiers work, you can read my post How Much do you Make with Sweatcoin? Now I can earn more than double the amount of sweatcoins!

How Many Sweatcoins can you Earn with Trouble Maker?

Until today, the maximum amount of sweatcoins you could earn was 20 per day. Now you can earn 50 per day. That’s a whopping 1500 sweatcoins you can earn each and every month! Before you get too excited, remember that to earn a sweatcoin, you have to walk about 1000 steps, which is about 1/2 a mile. But don’t get too discouraged. There are extra benefits that you receive by upgrading to the Trouble Maker Tier.

What can you Buy with Sweatcoins?

With all these extra coins you’ll be earning, you might be wondering what you can buy with them. Well, let’s take a look on the app.

I suspect that, since there is now real money coming in, there will be more and better offers to choose from, but we will see. Currently there are daily offers, marathon offers, and Bucket List offers. Most of the daily offers are nothing but advertisements for membership clubs. These range from Dollar Shave Club to Bark Box.

On most of these, you will pay a small number of sweatcoins and receive a free month of whatever club it is. Most of these “deals” can be had just by going directly to the companies’ websites, so I am reluctant to spend any sweatcoins on the daily deals.

There are occasional deals that have real value, but they sell out very quickly.

The Marathon Deals have a bit more appeal. Currently there are just a few, but one that I like is a 4k action camera from OCLU, valued at $299. This camera sells on Sweatcoin for 8000 sweatcoins. I have seen it sell out, but in a few days it was back. Other Marathon deals include a personal boxing gym and a light-emitting wearable.

The Bucket List deals are where Sweatcoin really shines. You can choose from a trip to Finland, or a trip to Paris, or even a 5 day trip to Disney World in Orlando! These trips cost between 18,000 sweatcoins and 20,000 sweatcoins. What would have once taken years to accumulate, could now be collected in less than a year, again, just by walking.

Sweatcoin offers you one final way to use the sweatcons that you earn. That is to donate your earned sweatcoins to charity. Currently, sweatcoins can be donated to charities that help victims of domestic violence, and another charity that helps primates that have been retired from laboratory research.

How Much Does the Trouble Maker Tier Cost?

The Trouble Maker Tier on the Sweatcoin app does cost real-world money, but it can be worth it. If you choose to pay monthly it will cost you $1.49 a month. For six months, you will pay $6.99, and for a whole year, you will only be charged $12.99.

What are the Benefits of Sweatcoin’s Trouble Maker Tier?

The biggest benefit to having the Trouble Maker is that you get to earn 50 sweatcoins per day instead of being capped at 20. Earning 50 coins by walking would require a lot of walking, about 25 miles a day to be exact. But, If you upgrade to the Trouble Maker, each coin you earn by walking is doubled.

That’s right. So, instead of 25 miles of walking, you would only have to walk for 12.5 miles. That is still a lot, but remember that your inside steps count as well as your outside steps. And, if you do a lot of walking anyway, you might as well upgrade and earn double the coins.

Is Sweatcoin’s Trouble Maker Tier Worth it?

If you could download an app, take daily walks, have your steps add up over the year, and be rewarded with a 5 day trip to Disney World, would you do it? My answer would be yes, of course.

But what if it cost you $1.49 a month? Would you still do it? Again, my answer would be YES!

The Trouble Maker tier on Sweatcoin is going to really help some people, myself included, earn some really nice things by simply walking and having an app counting your steps.

Even if you just walk the same distance after you upgrade, the Trouble Maker will double your steps for the low, low price of $1.49 a month.

Final Thoughts

I have already bought the Trouble Maker tier for $12.99. Will I reach the 50 coins a day? Not every day, maybe not even most days, but the steps I do take will be counted as 2. In my book, that is a win for me and for Sweatcoin.

That’s all I’ve got for you on the Trouble Maker tier on the Sweatcoin app.

Thanks for reading and remember…
