Let’s get one thing straight, You will not get rich playing games on Mistplay. You won’t even pay your bills. But Mistplay is legit. You can make some money playing games on Mistplay.
Mistplay does exactly what it promises. It pays you a little bit to download and play games on your phone. The more you play, the more you can earn. You can’t get cash, but you do have several gift card choices that you can choose from once you have earned enough units. It took me 2 days to earn a $5 Amazon card playing a lot of games, and it took me another 5 days to get a $10 card by playing games in my downtime.
Now, before you jump right in with high expectations, don’t.
There are a number of things you should know that will maximize your earnings.
- This is not a job
- Cash out options
- What are GXP vs PXP vs UNITS
- Read the Fine Print
- Your battery will be tested
- You can do other things while you play
- Good for a start at something bigger
- The payouts can take up to 48 hours
- Can you hack Mistplay?
This is not a Job
If you had your phone going 24/7, you might be able to make $10 per day…Maybe a little more, but that is all.
Now, if you absolutely have no other way to make money or buy stuff, this will work for you, and it’s easy. You Just download Mistplay, pick one of the games that pays the most and start playing.
Cash out Options
Currently on Mistplay, you have the opportunity to purchase gift cards with the Units you accumulate. You’re gift card choices currently are Amazon, Starbucks, X-Box, Prepaid Visa (closest thing to cash, but watch the fees), PlayStation, GameStop, I-tunes, Nintendo, and ebay.
You can cash out for as few as 400 Units, which will get you a 50 cent Amazon card.
For 1800 you can get a $5 card.
For 3000 Units, you can get a $10 card
Cashing in Units above $10 will be at the same rate of 1500 per $5. For example, a $25 card would be 7500 Units and a $50 card would be 15000 Units.
Obviously it is in your best financial interest to wait to cash out until you get to $10. Above $10 there is no incentive not to cash out.
What are GXP, PXP and UNITS?
GXP is game experience points. This is the amount of time you spend on playing a game. The longer you stay on a game, the more GXP you earn and the faster you level up in Mistplay.
PXP is Player experience points. It is the amount of time you spend playing any games on Mistplay. So, you earn GXP and PXP whenever you play a game.
By leveling up in a game (GXP) you earn Units.
By leveling up as a player (PXP) you also earn Units
Units are what you really want to accumulate to get your gift cards.
Mistplay has a lot of games you can choose from, but some pay alot more than others in terms of GXP and PXP so choose wisely
Read the Fine Print
I haven’t gone through every game, but I have looked at all of the games I have played and it looks like you will stop earning units after you reach level 20 for each game ***see note*** GXP points will stop being granted after 2 hours of play in one day for a specific game. It resets each day.
***note*** The levels that you are used to in a game are not the levels we are talking about here. In order for you to “level up” you need to earn GXP points from Mistplay. You earn GXP points simply by the time you spend on a game. You could level up in a specific game 100 times or none and you would get the same number of GXP points from Mistplay.
Here is a quick example. Say you are playing a slots game, and in that game you need to earn 100 casino chips to level up, you might get that in the first 30 seconds of playing. Then on the next spin you level up again, and the next spin you level up once again, but you would have earned the same number of GXP as you would have had you not even spun the wheel.
Mistplay doesn’t care how well you do, just that you are on the game and interacting at some level. Mistplay pays you GXP points that add up by how much time you spend in the game. Keep that in mind.
Your Battery Will be Tested
Make sure your charger is nearby because using the screen for this amount of time will drain your battery pretty quickly. I generally had my phone plugged in while I played slots while, at the same time, wrote this post.
You can do Other Things While Playing
Speaking of playing and writing at the same time, this is one of the benefits of Mistplay. It doesn’t take all of your attention. Some of the games hardly require any of your attention. Remember it’s all about the amount of time you spend on the game, not about how well you do.
During my trial of this app, I had my phone with me most of the time (like I always do). Some of the games are enjoyable by themselves, but I was looking to make the most money with the app that I could.
What I did was download a bunch of casino games where you could choose to auto spin a wheel 100 times. This allowed me to not pay attention to the phone for several minutes, but I was still earning GXP and PXP thus I continued to earn Units while paying very little attention to my phone.
I took my phone with me when I went for a walk, It was beside me when I was cooking and eating, I had it with me when I was watching TV and when I was working on the computer. At all those times I was earning without much effort on my part.
Can you Hack Mistplay?
Man, you can try anything. Of course it is against Mistplay’s Terms and Conditions. Read all about that here. Bottom line is NO. Don’t even try. Remember there is a 48 hour delay in processing your reward. They will check to see if you have been cheating and their automatic system missed something.
Don’t get me wrong. You will find videos on YouTube showing you how to cheat the system but the comments are filled with people who got caught. If you want a $10 Amazon card for doing nothing. Put in the damn “work”! Try to cheat, you’ll get nothing.
Good for a Start at Something Bigger
If you have no other way to make money, I mean NO other way, playing games on Mistplay can get you started making money in other ways. Say you want to start a YouTube channel, but you have no computer. Well, You could play on your phone for a couple months and buy something like this…
At ten bucks a week you could start your YouTube channel in less than 5 months and be on your way. But if you really took advantage of what Mistplay offers, you could make enough to buy a cheap computer in less than a month.
This same principle could be applied to almost anything. Say you want to start a lawn mowing business, but you have no mower. Well, play some games, earn enough to buy a mower and get out there and really start earning some money.
With a mower or laptop, you are going to earn a heck of a lot more than by playing on Mistplay, but Mistplay can give you a start.
The Payouts can Take up to 48 Hours
This is part of the anti-cheating system that Mistplay has. Once you have purchased one of the gift cards with your units, Mistplay will review your play and make sure you were not using any automated scrollers or any other “hacks”. Once they are satisfied that you played fair, you will receive an email with your gift card code.
Final Thoughts
I’ve mentioned several times that Mistplay will not get you rich, but it does everything it promises and I was able to make $10 just doing research for this post. I still play some of the games in my downtime, because I always want to be earning. Speaking of earning, if you download Mistplay from this post, I will receive 100 Units. So, I would appreciate it very much if you are planning to download Mistplay, you use this link. Thanks!
Thanks for reading, Y’all! And remember
Earn what you’re worth…and MORE!!
